Description: This project focuses on the careers of Baton Rouge-area blues musicians and the history of blues music in the city of Baton Rouge. Interviewees discuss prominent blues musicians, local and national blues music venues, the blues scene in other U.S. and some international cities, record labels, recording contracts and record sales, musical training and mentorship, touring, and radio broadcasts among other topics.
